"Being Together" was accepted into the Moving Images Film Festival in Nicosia, Cyprus. "Being Together" was a collaborative work between Texas State University Dance video-choreographer Ana Baer, the Texas State University Merge Dance Company and the Body Shift Collective, an Austin, TX, based dance company specializing in mixed-ability improvisational dance. Richard D. Hall composed the music for the film.

"Being Together" was accepted into the College of Adaptive Arts 12th Annual Celebrating Abilities Virtual Film Festival based in Saratoga, California. The festival is a "celebration featuring short local, national and international films by, for and about persons with differing abilities." The work was a collaboration between Texas State University Dance video-choreographer Ana Baer, the Texas State University Merge Dance Company and the Body Shift Collective, an Austin, TX, based dance company specializing in mixed-ability improvisational dance. Richard D. Hall composed the music for the film.

"Beneath the Dark Blue Waves" for Saxophone and Live Laptop Computer with live digital art was performed by Dr. Todd Oxford, Alto Saxophone and Richard, Laptop Computer and live digital art, at the College Music Society’s Sixty-Third National Conference, held in conjunction with the Association for Technology in Music Instruction (ATMI), the National Association of College Wind and Percussion Instructors (NACWPI), and Pi Kappa Lambda (PKL) National Conference. Afterwards, a lecture was given focusing on the performance techniques and technical aspects of the live electronics. The conference was scheduled to be held in Miami but was changed to virtual.

"Thule" recieved an Honourable mention from the 5th Festival International de Videodanza de la Ciudad de Mexico. It was a collaborative work between German dancer/choreographer Heike Salzer and Texas State University dance video-choreographer Ana Baer. Richard D. Hall was one of the featured composers for film.

Richard D. Hall was commissioned to compose music for the screen dance work "Holding Pattern." It was a collaborative work between Hall ands Texas State University dance choreographers Michelle Nance & Kaysie Sietz-Brown and Texas State University dance video-choreographer Ana Baer. The work was premired at the Opening Door Dance Theatre's "A Virtual Homecoming," a virtual, online dance performance featuring dancers, choreographers and filmmakers from all over the country.

"Thule" was awarded best short documentary by The Athens International Digital Festival. It was a collaborative work between German dancer/choreographer Heike Salzer and Texas State University dance video-choreographer Ana Baer. Richard D. Hall was one of the featured composers for film.
