"Wild-er-ness" selected for selected for the Deus Ex Terra Festival at Con-Temporary Art Observatorium, Lavagna, Italy. Richard D. Hall composed the music for "Wild-er-ness," a collaborative work between German dancer/choreographer Heike Salzer, Texas State University Dance Department Head Michelle Nance, Texas State University dance video-choreographer Ana Baer.

Richard D. Hall directed the Texas State Mysterium for New Music Ensemble's Fall 2019 concert of “'No Noise, Only Sound,' Music from the New York School,” a performance of pieces by Earle Brown, Christian Wolff, Morton Feldman and ending the concert with John Cage's "Living Room Music."

Richard D. Hall was commissioed by the Texas State University Band Program to compose a work for the Centennial Celebration of the Band Program. Song of the Sacred Springs for Advanced Concert Band was the result. It premiered at the Texas State University Concert Band Spring Concert under the direction of Mr. Matthew Holzner, Assistant Director of Bands.

The screen-dance work "shift" was accepted into the 11th LOBOFest, Museu Vivo de Momoria Candanga in Brasilia, Brazil. " Wild-er-ness" and "The Wall" were accepted into the Mostra International de danca Imagns Em Movimiento at theCentro Cultural Palace in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Richard D. Hall was a featured composer on the Texas State University's Fall 2019 Stars at Night Concert Series "Texas State Faculty Composers Showcase." Richard's piece Beneath the Dark Blue Waves for Saxophone and Live Laptop Computer with live digital art was performed by Dr. Todd Oxford, Alto Saxophone and Richard, Laptop Computer and live digital art. Hall's composition Chorale for 4 Laptop was premiered with performers Wesley Uchiyama-Penix, James Thistleton, John Vinzant and Richard Hall.

The video dance piece, "The Wall," was screened at the inaugural opening of the Latinx21 Film Festival at Toolbox LA. The film was produced, filmed and edited by Ana Baer, conceived and and directed by Michelle Nance and Ana Baer and features dancer Michelle Nance. Richard D. Hall composed the music along with sound editing and sound design.

Richard D. Hall directed the Texas State Mysterium for New Music Ensemble during the 2019 RetroGame Show Convention in Kyle, TX. Repertoire was works from various video games including Yoshi's Island, Castlevasnia, Tetris and Donkey Kong Country.

Richard D. Hall performed live electronics, flute and guitar at the Theorist Fest with Ana Baer’s “wild-er-ness” film, at the Mexican American Cultural Center in Austin, TX. The Theorists Fest featured 85 artists from five countries performing live music, dance, multi-media and giving professional workshops.
