Capricious Aplomb - 2014

Music written for video projection and live dancer; in collaboration with dancer/choreographer/video director Ana Baer and dancer/choreographer Kaysie Seitz Brown.

“The dance developed into an exploration of the portrayal of stability in defiance of an inward struggle with feelings of instability within an environment in which abstract images occasionally project on the dancer throughout the work,” says Brown. The project was featured in the publications Arts and Culture Texas and the Austin Chronicle.

Notable performances include: August 5-9, 2014; Dance-Forms’ 67th International Choreographers’ Showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2013, there were well over 40,000 performances of roughly 2,800 different shows from around the globe.
